As a 4th generation fisherman in Charlotte Harbor, Captain Ron Jones has fished the bayous of the harbor and the Gulf of Mexico for more than 30 years. Born and raised in Charlotte County, the back bays were his backyard. He learned to fish in the company of several generations of fishermen.

In his early teens, he was working on shrimp boats and stop netting with his dad, uncles and grandfather, sharpening his skills as an angler and outdoorsman. His many hours on the flats of Charlotte Harbor and the surrounding areas have given him the knowledge and experience to help his customers catch the fish they target. With 20+ years as a commercial fishing guide, Capt. Ron can accommodate large corporate fishing trips, large and small groups, as well as family adventures.

You may experience an hour long, heart pounding, and adrenaline pumping fight with a big game Tarpon or enjoy floating near the mangrove islands in search of the wide variety of fish that call the inshore waters home. The areas around Placida/Gasparilla Sound, Pine Island Sound and the Peace River, produce some of the most sought after game fish in the world.
